Media/Press Credential Registration

Apply for Miss America and Miss America's Teen media/press credentials using this form. The same information and requirements apply to anyone applying on site.

All media/press must use this application to apply for credentials. Please submit your application no later than two weeks before the start of competition week. Applications received after the deadline may face delays on site.

All applications will be reviewed for approval at the sole discretion of Miss America HQ.
Applicants employed by or freelancing for an accredited news organization must provide a letter of assignment on the outlet's letterhead, signed and dated by the assignment editor.
All applications must include a photo of the applicant.
Each individual must submit a separate application. Official Miss America credentials must be worn and clearly visible at all times at Miss America events.
All on-site interview requests with state delegates, Miss America officials, or affiliated individuals (celebrity judges, hosts, etc.) must be coordinated through the Miss America press office.
Approved applications and credentials will be confirmed by email before the event.
All approved credentials must be picked up at the on-site Miss America press office. No credentials will be released without a valid government-issued photo ID. A business card is not sufficient.
The press office opens at noon on the Wednesday of competition week to distribute credentials and remains open through the final night of competition.
Credentialed media will be seated in a press-designated area for both the preliminary competitions and the final show.
